The story
Not every project starts with a blank slate. This Nottingham home already had a smart system, but it was over ten years old. It had done its job for a long time, then been left to age, and the company that installed it had long since stopped paying it any attention.

The Process
We started with a full day in the house, going through the system room by room, documenting every fault and working out what needed replacing, upgrading or adding. That became a clear bill of materials, so the owners knew exactly what the work involved, and what it would cost, before we lifted a tool.

As certified Control4 and Lutron integrators, we modernised the system the homeowners already had rather than ripping it out and starting again, which kept the work focused and the cost sensible.

A home that feels current again, running reliably on modern hardware, with a dedicated media room it never had before.
