The story
The client already knew what we could do. We had integrated their previous home, and when they started building in the Peak District, they came back to us before the walls went up.

That timing mattered. Being involved at the build stage meant our design team could plan every cable route with the builders, rather than working around finished plaster later. Nothing had to be compromised to fit the technology in, because the technology was part of the plan from the start.

First fix run alongside the build, second fix on completion

The Process
The work happened in two stages, each timed to the build.

First fix. Our own engineers spent a week on site running cabling through walls and ceilings while they were still open, ready for plastering. Everything that carries the system is hidden in the fabric of the house. None of it was retrofitted.

Second fix. On our return we built a wall termination rack to bring every connection into order, then installed and commissioned the main rack and brought the system online.
The Solution
Control4 ties the house together. One interface controls lighting, entertainment, climate and the front door, with the same logic in every room. As certified Control4 integrators, we built it to behave consistently wherever you are in the home.

Three media walls anchor the main living spaces. Multiroom audio and video distribution send sound and picture to any room. Whole-home Wi-Fi holds up across the full footprint, and a video intercom manages entry at the door.

The Result
A modern home where the technology is felt rather than seen. It does what the family asks of it without drawing attention to itself, which is the point.

This was the second home we have integrated for this client, and the reason they came back is the same reason the relationship continues past handover: the team that designed and built the system also looks after it. Through TrustPack, the same people stay responsible for keeping it running.
“We'd had Trusted Technology in our last home, so when we started building we called them before the foundations were even in. That head start is why everything just works, with none of it on show.”
