Overview
Trusted Technology designs and installs the smart home, cinema and entertainment systems behind some of the finest homes in the country. We work in the prime residential space, typically in £2m to £20m homes across the East Midlands. We are a CEDIA member working with Control4, Crestron and Lutron, and we run our own employed engineers.
We are growing fast, and we have just opened Our Place, a 20,000 square foot experience centre unlike anything else in our industry.
The Role
We are looking for an apprentice to train as a smart home and AV engineer, learning the trade from the ground up alongside our experienced team. This is a real job with real responsibility from day one, paired with a structured apprenticeship and a recognised qualification at the end of it.
You will start by supporting our engineers on site and in the workshop, and grow into installing, wiring and commissioning the systems that run some of the finest homes in the country. We will teach you Control4, lighting, networking, AV and the standards we hold ourselves to. The rest is down to you.
We are not looking for experience. We are looking for the right person.
Who you are

Genuinely interested in technology, smart homes and how things work.
-
Reliable, willing to graft, and the sort of person who turns up and listens.
-
Good with your hands and keen to learn a proper trade.
-
Happy to study toward a qualification alongside the job.
-
A full driving licence is helpful, or something you are working toward.
-
GCSEs in maths and English, or the equivalent, are useful, though attitude matters more.
What we offer

Earn while you learn, with a clear path from apprentice to engineer.

Hands-on mentoring from some of the best engineers in the business.

A team that takes pride in the work and will invest in you.

A long-term career, not just a job, as we keep growing.
